| born in England's North West, educated in the South - mixed accent. Supports Stoke City, children being Londoners, support Chelsea!?! Took up photography at University - lots of moody b/w shots of student demos. Went on to a postgraduate diploma in photojournalism at the London College of Printing - more moody b/w, a few more demos, couple of riots, more portraits, lots of stories! 1st job - over 8 years at The Times, based in London, shooting news and features all over the UK and abroad. Favourite job: photographing paleolithic engravings under threat from a dam construction in Northern Portugal. Least favourite: just about any doorstep! Now to be found shooting portraits and stories for magazines, business titles, design agencies, corporate clients and publishers. Find it impossible to sit on a beach, would rather be off wandering, taking photos - drives family mad. Hoping that one day Stoke beat Chelsea!! |
